Of Forms & Rash Decisions

Guess what? I am still filling up that visa application form for India coz I couldn't get through it in one sitting. It gets more and more interesting. I have to list out my "visible identifying marks" (Birth marks? Moles? Physical deformities? Tattoos?). Also, under "Education", there is an option for "Illiterate". (Question: how does an illiterate fill up the form?). It also asks for the countries I have visited in the past TEN YEARS yet it there isn't enough space to list them all out. It's truly an incredible form; like the country.

There are 4 supporting documents I need to submit PLUS they need to hold on to my passport for 7 days at the Embassy - which means I cannot leave Singapore for 7 DAYS! Who can do that?! I leave the country every week! In fact, I have to leave the country tomorrow!

Speaking of which, argh, the trip tomorrow has been a rash move. I'm heading to Hong Kong - on an impulse. Without thinking it through, I went ahead and paid for tickets only to be reminded by Toi that we have a Faye Wong concert to go to this Saturday - the one I paid $380 for!! URGH! I tried cancelling my trip - cannot. I tried changing my return flight - they wanted to charge me half my ticket price. In the end, I decided to continue with HK and give up my ticket to Phillip.

I hope Faye Wong doesn't rock. Sob.
