But the nice thing about eating at my desk today is that my desk is, as of today, no longer in the public space. Which means I no longer have to cower slightly when people walk past my cubicle or feel abashed that I am polluting the air with the smell of my food.
And that is because The Frou just got upgraded last night -- I have been moved to my very own office room. Complete with the view of the alibaba Singapore River (or longkang?), I now have have twice more work space and triple storage space. This morning, I got on a conference call from my new room and I had my feet on the table and I was juggling imaginery balls while talking into the speaker phone with my U.S colleagues. The nice folks around the office have dropped in today to congratulate me on my graduation from junior to senior minion. It feels really good to be given a space to breathe.
And now that I can finally have my lunch in peace and privacy, and since smell is of no concern to anyone, I'm going on a nasi lemak diet next week. Hello sambal petai!

I'm S'porean so I'll take anything to make my title BIGGER. Job scope same size nevermind - less is more. Salary - Executive Secretary writes all your cheques anyway so nevermind too :)
