Nothing more than feelings

I was idly watching Dailytoe mark an essay (with a neon pink pen) when the lines in her forehead deepened suddenly. She scribbled (in oblong letters) the words, "Oh dear!" after a particular paragraph.

I asked her if it is ever appropriate to give such a (written) comment on a student's essay and she shoved the paper in my face instead. I read the paragraph and the first words I uttered immediately after was....... "Oh dear!" as well!

And those were also the first words I thought of a minute ago when I re-read my last blog entry!
Oh deary me. What the heck happened? Who died and made Frou the queen of drama? (Prolly some drugged out tranny at the back lane of Phat Pong...)

We are all complicated creatures with a connective heart and brain. A billion thoughts crosses our head each day, each sending a signal to our heart and forcing us to have "feelings" (drama or otherwise).

But you are not your feelings because feelings changes according to circumstances, where you are, time of the day, what you wear, what you eat, who you are with and so on and so forth. Feelings will come and they will go. Your feelings is not a reflection of your true self. Your feelings are, thank god, manageable.

Let me give you an example - my auntie friend, Phillip, often turn into a STRAIGHT road rage monster when faced with idiot drivers on the road. His voice deepens, his Hokkein improves and he uses gestures that would put any army general to shame. But once that moment pass and his anger dissipate, he goes back to shimmying to Kylie Minogue on the radio.

So feelings aside, I'm still the same rude and obnoxious Frou!! :p
