The first month of this year only just ended but I felt like I have done a million things. In just 1 short month, I have:
1. Travelled to a country I have never been before (suaku) for a week-long holiday. Taipei rawks! The Man and I had such a good time eating nonsense, soaking in hot springs and trawling little quaint side streets. I think it's one of my favourite cities now.
2. Travelled to a country I have never been before (super suaku) for a week-long work trip. Beijing was freezing cold (minus 9 deg!) and extremely polluted but apart from that, I knew nothing more because I was stuck in the office from morning to night everyday. The only meal I had outside my hotel room was 1 very small Peking duck. I repeat, it was very, very, small. :(
3. Fell extremely sick in Beijing and it lasted for a whole week after I came back. I am still not 100% but at least I can finally breathe through my nose - all thanks to Neti Pot Sinus Clearing System. The Man insists of calling it the "Natalie Portman". Gee.
4. Threw caution to the wind and had an extremely wild and spontaneous night out at MAMBO on a Wednesday with my favourite peeps (The Queen, The Toe, Toi, Songbird and Willy). I counted - we had about 11-15 shots each and were dancing wildly (and rubbing one another up) to the tunes of Timmy Thomas, Britney Spears and Rick Astley. I also (apparently) helped some chick stole beer from the bar, picked up a (reluctant) man for Toi and ate Songbird's sausage without permission - I remembered none of these but I do remember the AWFUL hangover the next day, which by the way, is a work day. I had to take 2 serious conference calls that morning and I ended up dialing in from my bed because I couldn't drive to work (I was still puking in the morning). In other words, it was A FANTASTIC NIGHT. (Thanks, Queen, for being our special guest! You are our dancing queen indeed!)
5. Threw a very succesful CNY fireworks party for the gang. We ate, we gambled and we lit up the sky. Read all about it on Toe's blog.
I will try and blog more this month (Feb) but right now, I need to lie down and close my eyes because it's past midnight and as much as I try to be a spring chicken (my gang's new year resolution), I ain't feeling so spring-y right now.

I didn''t dare tell the gang but I threw up in the longkang INSIDE Mish and Phil's house.......aiyoh.....we think we are still 18........BUT, it was bloody worth it :):):)can't wait for the next one!!!!Phangan in June?
