So I went on this rampage to acquire everything black, metallic and studded. However I found that if you deck yourself head to toe in them, you will end up looking more or less like a freak so I have limited my buys to rawk chick-cessories only.
My collection of 鞋业及服饰配件 (I am just showing off Chinese which I cannot read. I had to translate "Footwear & Apparel Accessories" for work recently and this is the translation according to my PRC lawyers) includes:
Lots of metallic leather cuffs with studs...
Leather necklaces & rings.....
I even found bling bling auntie banana clip to keep my hair in place!
These are my "fierce" Red Ped Der ballet shoes which I wear to office every day. I never wear flats but now I am finding them extremely comfortable. Downside is, I can feel every rock, gravel and groove on the ground I walk on because the sole is really thin.
These are my 'fierce' gladiator party shoes. I wore them only once during my 30th birthday party. Even when I fell over a few times that night (not because of the shoes, it was the absinthe), I was not seriously injured so these shoes must be good.
This is my black work bag. It is very Ah Lian because it is made of PVC but I love the shine and metal buckle bits.
This is my ultimate party bag! The shiny metal studs ensure that I can be seen anywhere in the club which is helpful when I am drunk and floundering around. Just look out for the blings!
Last but not least, here is my latest rawk chick-cessory - a 4 inch stilettos 'Choos' The Man got for me from his last overseas trip. Absolutely love how sexy they look but I have yet master the art of walking in them without lumbering like a wombat.
I hope my rawk chick obsession will ease off soon because I am going bonkus everytime I spot anything black with studs on the shop racks. I was even tempted to get a pair of black PVC hot pants with studs but The Toe managed to stop me from buying them by saying that I will have a smelly, sweaty (not forgetting, exposed) bum.
Oh well...... rawk on!!
