Still on the topic of Air Supply and their wonderful heartfelt songs, Phillip just revealed something to me today that I didn’t manage to catch for myself all these years listening to Goodbye. You know that sad, sad breakup song about how although it’s gonna hurt us both, there is no other way, than to say goodbye?

I just re-examined the lyrics..... and Phillip is absolutely right! OH BOY! I realize that it is actually a very sneaky, “sorry, it’s not you, it’s me” breakup song!
