Down time

It's the mid week.

I went climbing earlier. It was uneventful. Climbing is good for when you do not wish to think too much. When you climb, you just concentrate on the next move. And the next. And the next.

The German, Toe and I sat down for a meal afterwards. Decisions were made quickly. The consensus was fried food. There were much to say, lots to eat, and we washed it down with a bottle of Chilean.

It was a somber night. A sense of gloom hang over our heads. All of us were struggling with issues. We spoke of some but left a lot unspoken. One of us just ended a long term relationship. Another has been crying everyday at work. The remaining is standing at the crossroads of her life not knowing which direction to go.

It was satisfying though, not think too much about what’s going on and just fill your body with the warmth of food and indulge your soul in company that do not judge.

This week seems like a down time for many around me. Hang in there. Difficulties exist to be surmounted. The Frou is here if you need.
