Last night at the climb gym, she squatted amongst ropes and made a variety of 'chicken sounds' in different pitch and timing. Then she made The German and I guess what the chicken is feeling.
Example:
*POK-POK-POK-POK-KEH!* = An excited chicken
*pok-pok kehhh, pok-pok kehhh" = A disappointed chicken
*POK-pok-KEH! POK-pok-KEH!* = A wounded chicken
So we squatted next to her, deciphering a range of chicken emotions. I don't know why we indulge her.
Coincidentally, we went to dinner afterwards and ordered a large pizza with chicken sausages. Dailytoe picked the sausages off our slices and shouted at the waiter, "WE HATE HIM" when told the last bottle of (cheap straw-colored) wine that we wanted has just been taken by some other guy patron. The waiter recoiled in terror at her angst.
Dailytoe, stop terrorising us! Pok Pok Keh your backside!

The Daily Toe (in a calm soothing voice): You know that the Pok Pok Kehs are a tribute to you, my lovely feathered friend. You are my spring chicken...
*POK POK KEHHHH*
(Irritating or not??)
*dances around the Frou, flapping wings*
