I didn't. I thought they come from waterfalls or springs and the like. But factually, it is the rain that fills the waterfalls and springs and the like in the first place.
Therefore,
The purest water will come from a place with the least acid rain and pollutants. Somewhere far away from urbanisation - a virgin ecosystem on Earth.
Why am I spouting all these nonsense? Because I am trying to justify paying S$2.95 for a bottle of mineral water that comes from FIJI where apparently "the rainfall is purified by trade winds as it travels thousands of miles across the Pacific Ocean to the islands of Fiji."
When my boss caught me swigging daintily from the said bottle, he ask whether he is paying me too much money.
My answer, as always, is 'never enough.'

i swear it does taste different from the rest. clearer. sweeter even. :) especially when i mix it into my whisky.
Frou, I dissapprove of spending money like this especially that the carbon emmission of sending this bottle of water from Nadi/Suva till here has contributed to the ozone layer depletion.
In addition, please bear in mind that food prices are escalating and there are riots and unrest in Haiti, Egypt and other states.
