Seeking a piece that won't change

During its quest for the perfect mate, the Missing Piece did thought that it had found "The One."


Unfortunately, in the blissful comfort zone of the relationship, the Missing Piece became complacent and allows itself to change.

Miffed by the change in the Missing Piece, the supposed One began to question the perfectness of the relationship. It didn't want a partner who will change - for the worse, no less! That's a deception, a fraud! That is not what it invested in and bargained for. Yes, it understands that changes are imminent in every aspect of nature including relationships, but where do you draw the line?

"I didn't know that you were going to grow," says the supposed One.

"I didn't know it either," said the Missing Piece.

"I'm looking for my missing piece, one that won't increase......"

And with that, the supposed One rolled away from the relationship.
