They keep on singing!

If Haley Joel Osment (who have put on way too much weight since Sixth Sense) keep seeing dead people, then I keep hearing kids sing.

And to make matters worse, they are singing very thought-provoking songs. Loud and clear. In my face.

Today, in the elevator on my way to work, this little precocious girl literally bounced into the lift and informed her mother that she is going to sing and if she (the mother) didn't catch any of the lyrics, please stop her at any time for clarifications (this one is on her way to becoming a politician).

She screams:

"I can show you the world
Shining, shim-me-ring splendid
Tell me prin-cess
Now when did you last have your heart's desireeeeee???"

Well, if she is asking THIS princess, the heart is right now desiring a stiff drink to get through the day.....

NEXT PLEASE!

Heh. The children are very intuitive. They must know of your singing prowess...

"Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon??"

Have or not?

No, I have not. Neither have I asked the grinning bobcat why he grins.

BUT....

I have heard the bunioned wombat cry to the friggin' purple route at Climb Asia. And I have asked the unicorn why she grins and she says it's because she finds the wombat damn hilarious.
