The joy of singlehood

...... is further enhanced by a shopping mall who loves and respect the fabulous single gal.

Last Sunday, I was stumbling half asleep to catch the harry pothead (sorry potter) movie at an unearthly hour of 10.30am (thanks to Phillip's bright idea) at The Curve Shopping Mall. I was hungover from the night before and dragging my feet through the carpark towards the mall entrance when I spotted a suspicious sign under a parked car.

Curious as to what the sign says, I walked round to the other side:

Finally! Some recognition that it is not only OK to be single, they actually reward you with nice pink parking slots just next to the entrance to the mall so that you can cart your shopping bags all by yourself to the car. Who needs men!

I wonder what they do to men who parks there (or worst, girls with BOYFRIENDS!!!) Hehe..

Jest aside, I think it is a very clever and considerate gesture by the mall management to look out for the welfare of female drivers in light of the spate of hijacking accidents. Go Curve!

Oh by the way, Harry Potter isn't all that. Compared to the other instalments, the Order of the Phoenix is angst ridden and draggy. I actually snorted during the scene when Cho Chang conjured a magical mistletoe (in the middle of July!) so that she has an excuse to snog Pothead (sorry Potter) under the watchful animated picture of her dead ex-bf.

Yes, what we need is more movies to encourage young Asian girls to snag the angmoh boys....
