We love Bradgelina!

I heard the news that Angelina Jolie has recently adopted a new Vietnamese boy and has named him "Pax-Thien Jolie". He started crying the minute he saw her because apparently his caretaker did not inform him that he is going to be adopted by one of the world's hottest actress in the world that day. He stopped crying after a while (maybe his new fortune dawned on him) and even played with his new older Cambodian brother, Maddox Jolie-Pitt.

Now I am curious: why is Pax Thien's surname not Jolie-Pitt like the rest of his multi-racial siblings?

I posed this question to the two Queens in my life - and it sparked off an insightful and detailed analysis of the Bradgelina saga.

So, according to my sister, The Tabloid Queen, the reason why they can only use one parent's name is due to restrictions in local Viet laws that an unmarried couple cannot both legally adopt a Viet child. That is also partly why Brad Pitt didn't make the trip to Vietnam with Angelina to collect Pax-Thien.

My best friend, The Queen, reckons that the fact that Angelina didn't adopt an Indian child after spending so much time in India says A LOT about her. According to Angelina, she wanted an Asian boy to complement her other Asian son.

I myself suspect that Pax Thien will grow up to be a very resentful young boy because he doesn't have the world hottest man, "Pitt" in his surname. On hindsight, maybe Shiloh Jolie-Pitt will be the most resentful one seeing that during a recent interview, Angelina actually revealed that she feels guilty spending time or even having Shiloh in the first place because this mean one less child to save (and adopt) in this world.

The Queen speculates that Brad and Angelina will not last long anyway because she is a demented self-mutilating pain in the ass whereas he is such a good country boy.

The Tabloid Queen begs to differ, saying that Brad likes to put up appearance that he is such a goody two shoes but is im fact, just another fickle jerk and only interested in the hottest catch of the season i.e. how he dumped Gweneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston when they are not so-hot anymore. Sooner or later, he will get bored of Angelina and Angelina knows this, that's why she refused to marry him despite having all these kids together.

And her insightful speculation on the future of the kids are:

Maddox: Since he actually looks quite good, he'll be sought after by the HK movie makers and ends up making kung fu movie flops.

Zahara: With her exotic looks, Zahara will grow up to be a famous model, like Naomi Campbell. but it's hard to say whether she'll have temperament issues and end up whacking personal assistants over the head and doing public community service wearing a designer fur coat.

Shiloh: Resentful since young (based on analysis above) will grow up and get tatoos and date rockers, do drugs and steal Paris Hilton's toyboys.

Pax Thien: Since he is quite short for his age, he'd probably have major inferiority complex and will reject all movie offers starring next to his brother, Maddox. He decides to become a monk for a while and devotes his life helping the needy everywhere except Cambodia, Africa, America and Vietnam.
