There is no reason for their “reasonably”

I am so pissed off at with these nampy pampy legal counsels I have to deal with who unreasonably wants to insert the word "reasonably" all over our contracts.

"Franchisee shall comply with the design plans that may be reasonably communicated by Frou's Company from time to time and Franchisee shall accept delivery of any design plans that Frou's Company shall reasonably deem fit"

What the fuck is "reasonably" communicated? Do I have to bring you out for dinner first and say your hair looks nice? If I had shouted it out to you in front of your wife and kids, does that makes it "unreasonable"? We are running a respectable business here, for goodness sake. Communications will come to you through the mail in the form of a nice A4 embossed letter. I will perfume the freaking letter if you think it makes it more "reasonable".

And what's up with "reasonably" deem fit? Of course we will only come up with design plans that we KNOW is fit because our business reputation is at stake. We are not asking them to do something stupid like turn around and do the hokus pocus and touch their nose to their armpits - which by the way I can argue is a perfectly "reasonable" thing to ask of them since they are playing clowns with us.

You either want to comply or don't. Don't say you will comply only if we ask "reasonably". If you read that sentence carefully, they are not even disputing about accepting the design plans - just the way we communicate the plans to them and whether WE (not them) think the plans are "reasonable".

What a bunch of morons! ARGHHHHH! Another white hair….. :(
